If you have questions about any of this, please send a PM to an officer on the guild website.
Alt: Alternate character of a member of the guild. For security reasons, alts do not have access to the guild bank. (If you wish to have one of your alts invited to the guild, whisper an officer the alt's character name from your main character.)
Guild Friend: A friend of a member of the guild. We will invite your friends when you ask and they can stay as long as they want (so long as they are not offensive in guild chat or something). Guild friends are in the guild as, well, friends. They are not in the guild to raid. They are welcome to join us in 10 mans, and occasionally even help out if a 25 man is short, but should not have the expectation that they will attend raids.
Please do not join as a guild friend and expect to get promoted to a different rank. If you want to raid, please apply to the guild here on the forums. (If your application looks good and we have a spot for your class/role, then we may ask you to come on a trial run, but keep in mind we might already be full on your class.)
Applicant: In order to be invited to the guild as an applicant, you need to make a formal application (usually on the forums, but sometimes a verbal interview). If the application looks promising, we'll take you on a trial run or two. If the trial goes well, you'll be invited to the guild for a minimum two-week trial period.
During the trial period, you earn DKP, but you can only win loot when raiding members do not need it for their mainset. You will be promoted to Member (below) if you raid actively for at least two weeks with regular attendance and perform well at those raids.
Raiding Member: A raiding member of the guild. Members and all higher ranks have equal priority on mainset loot in 25-man raids. Only raiding members are eligible for 2nd spec priority.
For purposes of raiding, loot distribution, etc., Recruiters, Officers, and Co-GMs can be considered Raiders.
